Meet the Three Graces

Krista Montalvo

Q. What I look forward to in 2014:

A. I have been gradually creating a simpler and more mindful family life.  It has been a learning lesson of letting go in 2013.  I believe that 2014 will bring great abundance in all aspects of my life.  It's going to be a year full of intention.

Q. What I adore about myself now:

A. I used to hate my frizzy, curly hair when I was a teenager.  I even used to iron it with the iron & ironing board.  Once I got older, I learned to love my crazy hair!  I think it's beautiful and I love being able to say that about myself out loud to other people.  Try it!

From the words of Roseanne Barr, "I prefer to be called a Domestic Goddess." I love just about anything outdoors, creative or involving food! I am married to an amazing man with 3 little girls.  I am a southern belle living the mountain dream in Colorado. I am a mommy blogger (www.amarmielife.com) who shares all the random things that cross my path and bring me joy. Bluebirds are my theme & Yellow is my way life!  I have had many wonderful jobs throughout my life including being a florist, a nanny, a server, a microbiologist assistant, a book keeper, a lab technician, and owner of Ginger Magnolia Catering.

I look forward to following this fun and exciting adventure with Three Graces.

Q. What I look forward to in 2014:

A. A new chapter.  I have just finished a major chapter in my life and I am looking forward to seeing what is next.

Q. What I adore about myself now?

A. Alone time!  I use to hate to be alone, I almost always wanted to be entertained and be with friends and family.  I would have NEVER have sat at a restaurant alone or gone to a movie by myself!  I felt it would make me look lonely.  I didn't know how to sit with myself.  This now is one of my favorite things to do.  I love to be with myself, quite my mind and journal.  I am now my own best friend!

Kendra Morrow has many tools in her handbag. She went to college for 4 years and then had the calling to get her Massage Therapy License.  Kendra found her in·di·vid·u·al·i·ty  when she moved to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts for 8 years. She was able to find out who she was and fall in love with that person. Kendra also found her passion of business there. And then decided it was time to move home and open Canyon Creek Bed & Breakfast. Through that, she has made many connections, friendships, her family and life choices.

Here's to a new adventure!
